Personalised work area with timer and labelled items.
Now that we’re a few weeks into this block of work, everyone is settling into the routine.
The newly organised areas in each of the barns are proving to be helpful to everyone. We have clear workstations for each person along with personalised schedules. We also have shared areas which are labelled in terms of equipment and materials.
Number work system, schedule, pens/pencil holder and a place to put iPad before starting work.
The Lower Stable Barn is now fully watertight, has a new floor and has been painted.
This area is particularly good as a quieter workspace for REACCH members who attend our visit programme once or twice a week. This room also houses all our highly structured visual tasks which are used by those on our visit programme but also across the project where helpful.
New flooring.
We are currently updating the flooring in one of our barns. The new flooring looks smart and is non-slip and easy to clean. We are grateful to Tavistock Carpets for helping us select the best flooring and to Dave O for helping us improve this area.
It is a constant work in progress to update our buildings and we value the input of ideas and practical help from REACCH members and the team as well as those from the wider community who help us in different ways with this.
