REACCH Core Training
1. An Introduction to Using Structured TEACCHing to support the learning, behaviour and independence of children and young people on the Autism Spectrum. (two- day format)
This training provides participants with:

an understanding of autism and how it impacts on learning

an understanding of the core principals of the TEACCH approach

an opportunity to work on the practical application key TEACCH practices:
- clear physical structuring of learning environments
- effective schedules
- visual work systems to promote independence
- visually structured tasks
2. An Introduction to Using Structured TEACCHing to Support the Social, Leisure and Daily Living Skills of Children and Young People on the Autism Spectrum. (two day format)
This training provides participants with:

an understanding of autism and how it impacts on social development and daily living skills

an understanding of social developmental levels and how to use these to structure social learning

an opportunity to work on the practical application of key TEACCH practices in structuring social, leisure and daily living skills tasks
